Symposium de politiques sur le vieillissement
En collaboration avec le CIRANO et la Chaire, l’Université de Calgary, School of Public Policy, organise à Ottawa un symposium intitulé Living Healthy in Old Age: Dreams, Realities and Consequences le 19 avril 2016. Il est obligatoire de s'inscrire ici.

Atelier international Chaire-CIRANO-CIRPÉE sur les soins de longue durée
En collaboration avec le CIRPÉE et le CIRANO et dans les locaux de ce dernier à Montréal, la Chaire organise les 28 et 29 avril 2016 un atelier (en anglais uniquement) intitulé The Design and Evaluation of Long-Term Care Policy. L’événement réunira 11 conférenciers en provenance du Canada, des États-Unis et d'Europe. La participation est gratuite, mais les places sont limitées et l’inscription est obligatoire (avant le 16 avril). Pour plus d’information, prière de communiquer avec Hélène Diatta (diatta.helene@uqam.ca ou  514 987- 6181).

Colloque à l’Acfas
Dans le cadre du 84e congrès de l’Acfas, qui se tiendra à l’UQAM, la Chaire organise un colloque sur le thème Démographie et main-d’oeuvre, en collaboration avec le CIQSS et l’Association des démographes du Québec. Plusieurs chercheurs associés à la Chaire y présenteront leurs travaux. Le colloque aura lieu les 9 et 10 mai; il faut s’inscrire dans le site du congrès.

Bourses de la Chaire
Félicitations à Philippe Jacques (maîtrise, UQAM) et à Ismaël Choinière-Crèvecoeur (doctorat, UQAM), boursiers de la Chaire à compter de l'été 2016. La prochaine date limite pour soumettre une candidature est le 15 juin 2016, pour des versements débutant à l’automne (septembre 2016). Les détails sont disponibles dans le site Web de la Chaire.

Policy Symposium on Aging
In collaboration with the CIRANO and the Chair, the School of Public Policy of the University of Calgary presents in Ottawa a symposium titled Living Healthy in Old Age: Dreams, Realities and Consequences on April 19, 2016. Registration is mandatory here. 

Chair-CIRANO-CIRPÉE International Workshop on Long-Term Care
In collaboration with the CIRPÉE and the CIRANO and in the latter’s offices in Montréal, the Chair will hold a workshop on The Design and Evaluation of Long-Term Care Policy on April 28–29, 2016. The event will bring together 11 presenters from Canada, the U.S. and Europe. Attendance is free of charge, but seats are limited and registration is mandatory (before April 16, 2016). For more information, please contact Hélène Diatta (diatta.helene@uqam.ca or 514 987-6181).

Acfas Colloquium
As part of the 84th Acfas conference, which will be held at UQAM, the Chair is organizing a colloquium (in French only) on Demography and the workforce, in collaboration with the QICSS and the Association des démographes du Québec. Several researchers with ties to the Chair will be presenting their work. The colloquium will take place on May 9-10; registration is mandatory on the conference’s website.

Chair Scholarships
Congratulations to Philippe Jacques (master’s, UQAM) and to Ismaël Choinière-Crèvecoeur (doctorate, UQAM), Chair scholarship holders beginning in the summer of 2016. The next deadline to apply is June 15, 2016, for payments beginning in the fall (September, 2016). Details are available on the Chair’s Website.
