CREEi is pleased to welcome Nicholas-James Clavet to its team. He joined the Chair as Director of Modelling on October 26.
As part of this new role, he will be responsible for the development and promotion of CREEi’s modelling tools. He will notably take charge of the SimFin model and ensure the production and promotion of research results.
Nicholas-James holds a PhD in economics from Université Laval. Over the years, he has collaborated with the Chair team on several occasions, notably as co-author of several working papers and certain tools in the mid-2010s. His last role before joining the CREEi team was that of social development consultant at Retraite Québec.
His modelling skills as well as his experience and knowledge of the Canadian and Quebec retirement systems are assets that will allow him to contribute significantly to the advancement of CREEi research projects.
