The tool&#8217;s presentation page can be accessed by <a href=\"https:\/\/creei.ca\/en\/simfin-public-finances-simulator\/?noredirect=en_US\">clicking here<\/a>, while those who want to access technical documentation as well as the installation procedure can do so by visiting the <a href=\"https:\/\/creei-models.github.io\/simfin\/index.html\">SimFin page<\/a> (in French) on GitHub.<\/p>\n<p>This model bases its calculations on data from several sources. First of all, demographic projections come from the <a href=\"https:\/\/creei-models.github.io\/simgen\">SimGen<\/a> demographic simulator developed by <a href=\"https:\/\/creei.ca\/en\/?noredirect=en_US\">CREEi<\/a>. SimFin also uses data from Statistics Canada&#8217;s SPSD, the Canadian Institute for Health Information and public accounts and budgets produced by the Quebec government.<\/p>\n<p>The target users of the simulator are researchers, professors, government professionals and students.
