The mission of the Chair is to contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge and to offer society and decision-makers insightful analyses on intergenerational economic issues linked to human capital, such as inequalities and skills, as well as issues related to demographic change and the evolution of the labour market.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will conduct research that may fall within one or more of the Chair\u2019s research areas, namely:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inequality and Poverty;<\/li>\n<li>Labour Market and Transitions;<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Specific projects will be determined collaboratively with co-chairholders Marie Connolly and Raquel Fonseca. The successful candidate will benefit from the guidance of the co-chairholders as well as the advantages of accessing their network at UQAM and in Montr\u00e9al. They will participate in the writing of scientific papers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Profile of the ideal candidate:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>D. holder in economics, earned within five years prior to taking up the position,<\/li>\n<li>Has published scientific papers on at least one of the research topics related to the general research program,<\/li>\n<li>Possesses advanced oral and written skills in French and\/or English,<\/li>\n<li>Possesses advanced skills in econometrics and programming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Our offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The start date is flexible.
