We use an \u2018intertemporal pro-poorness\u2019\u00a0formulation that accounts separately for the benefit of \u201cmobility as\u00a0equalizer\u201d and the social variability cost of\u00a0poverty transiency. Several\u00a0decompositions are proposed to measure the importance of each of these impacts\u00a0of growth on the\u00a0pro-poorness of distributional changes.
