A 2nd research note on the Disposable Income Simulator (SRD) tool, developed at the chair, by Pierre-Carl Michaud and Raquel Fonseca, chair co-holders, as well as David Boisclair, Marianne Laurin, Paul Ouimet, Gaëlle Simard-Duplain and Pierre-Yves Yanni, was published in the CIRANO COVID-19 Insights series. In this text, the authors show the comparative effects of the Canada Emergency Response Benefit and employment insurance on 1) the distribution of work incentives among the population, and 2) the public finances in Quebec.
