A 2nd research note using the Disposable Income Simulator (SRD), developed at the chair, written by Pierre-Carl Michaud and Raquel Fonseca, chair co-holders, as well as by David Boisclair, Marianne Laurin, Paul Ouimet, Gaëlle Simard-Duplain and Pierre-Yves Yanni was published in the CIRANO COVID-19 Insights series. In this text, the authors show the comparative effects of the Canadian Emergency Response Benefit and employment insurance on 1) the distribution of work incentives among the population, and 2) public finances in Quebec.
