The first article of a project on the benefits of physical activity among older adults, in which Raquel Fonseca, Chair co-holder, is involved, has just been published in the Journal of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (JAMDA).
Entitled “Maintenance of Autonomy Through exerCise in Hospital Setting (MATCH): A Feasibility Study,” this article was co-authored by Raquel Fonseca and Eva Peyrusqué, Marie-Jeanne Kergoat, Aline Bolduc, Fanny Buckinx, Caroline Law, Nathalie Veillette and Mylène Aubertin-Leheudre.
While this article is the first in this project, it should not be the last: this initiative should lead to further publications in the coming months.
